On the edge of Derby, where the streetlights flicker and the wind whispers secrets through the trees, stands a rink with a legend older than its floorboards. They say that every year, as summer fades and the nights grow colder, Rollerworld begins to change.
The music warps. The shadows stretch. And somewhere deep beneath the rink, something begins to wake.
Families swear they’ve seen glowing pumpkins rolling on their own. Adults whisper about strange figures gliding across the rink long after closing time. And every so often… a wheel spins when no one is near it.
This year, the spirits are restless. They’re hungry for fun. They’re ready for chaos. And they’re waiting for YOU.
On Saturday 31st August 2026, Rollerworld Derby opens its doors to the brave, the bold, and the foolish who dare to skate through the haunt.
Two events. One cursed rink. And a night you’ll never forget.

🦇🌙 7pm–2am — Adults‑Only Halloween Skate (18+)
When night falls, Rollerworld transforms. The fog thickens. The music drops into full scream mode. And the creatures of the night come out to skate.

Expect scary, crazy, frightful chaos — the kind of Halloween energy that makes your heart race and your wheels spin faster. Costumes are highly encouraged… the darker, the wilder, the better.

THE ROLLERWORLD SCARE MAZE
Hidden in reception… a doorway appears. A doorway that wasn’t there yesterday.
Step inside our Scare Maze — a twisting, claustrophobic labyrinth filled with eerie sounds, shifting shadows, and creatures that don’t like being disturbed. Every corner hides something unexpected. Every turn feels wrong. And once you enter… the only way out is to survive the path ahead.
Enter at your own risk. Some make it through laughing. Some make it through screaming. Some… don’t make it through at all.

👻 12–5pm — Family Halloween Skate
As the doors creak open, the rink fills with giggles, gasps, and the sound of tiny wheels escaping imaginary monsters. Shadows dance across the walls, pumpkins glow, and every corner hides a friendly fright.
Admission: £10
Skate Hire: £2.50
Adult Spectators: £1.00
Expect scary, eerie, Halloween‑themed fancy dress — totally optional, but absolutely encouraged. Prizes await the best costumes, so bring your witches, ghosts, superheroes, skeletons, and all things spooky-but-silly.
